Transy Dog Behavior and Cognition Lab

The Transy Dog Behavior and Cognition Lab is a team of researchers seeking to understand a little more about the thoughts, behaviors, and reasoning of our best friends.

By studying the minds of our canine companions we can learn not only how they think and why they do the things they do, but our hope is that we can apply the insights we gain in our lab to help make dogs’ lives, and those of the humans who love them, a little better. 

We are currently recruiting dogs to join our team! All of our studies are fun for the dogs — they involve things like watching a puppet show, playing with toys, earning some treats, and solving some puzzles! If you are in the Lexington area and interested in becoming involved in our studies we would love for you to come in sometime!
