Meet some Pathfinders
Hannah Isa has used her time at Transy to develop her skills as a leader, co-founding the Muslim Students Association and serving on the executive board of Young Muslims Lexington. She’s worked closely with leaders on campus and Lexington to achieve the goals she has for her faith community, planting seeds to set up future students for success in academics and in life.
What I love about Transy is they’re really there to support you and your ideas. Knowing that people are willing to listen, develop and assist in any way they can is pretty amazing. Casual conversations become big ideas.

Jocelyn Lucero has taken advantage of the wide variety of student organizations at Transy, including as a mentor with Pioneer Pathways, a coordinator with First Engagements, president of the Spanish Club and continuing education chairman of Delta Delta Delta sorority. She used those opportunities to build her leadership and communication skills and was elected president of Student Government Association as a senior. She now plans to take what she’s learned to law school, where recommended Transylvania applicants have a 100 percent admission rate.
Transy has given me multiple opportunities to have an active role in organizations that I am passionate about, making my leadership experiences that much more engaging. An important aspect of that is communication—being a leader on Transy’s campus means you are in constant communication with other students, faculty and staff.
