Life outside the classroom
One of the best things about life outside the classroom at Transy is the vibrant campus community. There’s a wide range of extracurricular activities, clubs and organizations that cater to diverse interests, including student government, cultural groups, service organizations and recreational sports teams.
Transylvania also hosts numerous events and activities throughout the year, such as concerts, theater productions, art exhibits and guest lectures.
Outside the classroom, you’ll find a vibrant campus life that’s enriched by various student organizations, clubs and activities. With more than 70 clubs and organizations on campus, you’re bound to find something that sparks your interest. You can join student government, literary publications, social justice groups, athletic teams and much more. We value diversity and inclusivity, and we work hard to create a welcoming and supportive environment where everyone can feel at home.
I came to Transy because of the location. I loved the idea of going to a small school but also getting to meet more diverse people and being part of things that were different from back home.
