The Psychology Program strongly recommends that:
- Majors choose a psychology faculty member as their adviser.
- Students select a wide range of psychology classes. Breadth in psychology background is important for all students regardless of future career plans.
- PSY 2224 Research Methods is taken early in the career and taken before PSY 2234 Statistical Analysis. These two classes are especially important for students interested in graduate school.
- Students interested in graduate school should become involved in research at Transy or summer research programs at UK or elsewhere.
Please note that PSY 2234 Statistical Analysis does not fulfill the General Education Area I Mathematics requirement.
