General nursing school course requirements include:
- Anatomy and Physiology I and II
- General Biology
- Developmental Psychology
- Nutrition
- Microbiology
- Statistics
- Ethics (Required by some programs)
- Chemistry (Required by some programs)
- Communication courses (Required by some programs)
Must have a minimum grade of B-/C in prerequisite courses prior to applying.

- Pre-Nursing students can obtain observation hours by connecting with a mentor through Transy’s 100 Door Program

Transylvania has a partnership with Bellarmine University. This partnership gives Transy students priority consideration into Bellarmine’s Nursing Program.
