This semester, students taking Writing, Rhetoric and Communication 2214 dove into tackling a problem many nonprofits have — communicating with millennials and Generation Z.
Some Transylvania University students have learned—through sweat, callouses and meeting people in the surrounding community—what it means to have not only a house with a roof, but a home.
Transy students and volunteers spend their time helping youths develop academically and socially, building positive, meaningful relationships with the children to encourage healthy growth toward success.
The London Ferrill Garden, just down the road from Transy is a “food oasis” that provides the neighborhood with easy access to fresh produce.
Transy students spend their Monday evenings at the Lyric Theatre and Cultural Arts Center helping produce the show, which airs on 537 radio stations across the globe.
