While on-campus admissions visits have stopped for a while because of COVID-19, we are offering several ways for families to continue to learn how Transy can be a life-changing college experience for their students.
After extensive conversations with campus leadership, Transylvania University Interim President John Williams announced the following initial actions taken by the university in response to the current COVID-19 health crisis.
A newly published novel translated by Transylvania professor Veronica Dean-Thacker picks up where Miguel de Cervantes left off in the early 1600s with the end of “Don Quixote.”
A former poet laureate himself, Transylvania professor Richard Taylor looks forward to this month’s visit by U.S. Poet Laureate Joy Harjo. “I think it’s a big deal for Kentucky,” Taylor said.
The Transylvania and Bluegrass Community and Technical College theater departments are teaming up for Wednesday’s “The Raid by Idris Goodwin: A Staged Reading Performance.”
