Transylvania will bring the cutting edge of creativity to campus next week with its biennial Studio 300 Digital Art and Music Festival.
Transylvania has put out a call for digital artists and musicians to submit works for a biennial festival that draws participants from across the globe.
Caroline Randall Williams wrapped up Transylvania University’s 2020-21 Creative Intelligence series with a moving reading and discussion on this academic year’s theme of “Justice.”
Transylvania choral director Regan MacNay led the discussion with ASE founder Everett McCorvey, author Eileen Guenther on the performance and the history and context of spirituals.
Transylvania will host a free, online artists’ talk Sunday on the power of spirituals as part of the school’s Smith Concert Series, which this year features a concert by the renowned American Spiritual Ensemble.
