The Transylvania community has pulled together to prepare for remote learning beginning today and lasting through the end of the academic year.
“We have been working for the last several weeks as a senior administrative team with a variety of staff and now all of our faculty members to prepare them to provide the remote instruction for this time.”
To help minimize the potential for community spread of the COVID-19 virus, we have made the decision to cancel this year’s Alumni Weekend.
After extensive conversations with campus leadership, we have decided to move to remote instruction for the remainder of the academic year and provide May term instruction remotely only for seniors who require credits to graduate in May.
Transylvania’s national search for its next vice president for academic affairs and dean of the university is continuing through videoconferencing.
