Transylvania alum, language teacher, seeks equity for all students
Anna Tussey ’13 is a language teacher at Louisville’s John F. Kennedy Montessori Elementary School, a researcher who has worked with Guatemalan-Maya students, the children of indigenous immigrants, and the new board chair of a nonprofit called the Guatemalan Educational Outreach.
Transy alums start nonprofit for young adults in Africa
Alums Allison Conder ’14 and Nzinga Donovan ’13 founded the nonprofit Kairos International to invest in the soul, mind and skills of young adults in developing nations.

In Memoriam: Albert Prewitt, Pioneer Hall of Fame athlete
Albert “Al” Prewitt ’57, a top athlete during his Transylvania career, passed away Oct. 8 at age 86.
