Students who submit a FAFSA are eligible for low-interest federal student loans if they need them. It’s also the first step to be considered for a federal parent PLUS loan, which can help pay for college costs. To start your application, have Transylvania’s school code (001987) ready and then visit fafsa.gov to create your unique FSA ID. Once you are accepted to Transylvania and the school receives your FAFSA information, you will receive a detailed financial aid offer from the university, outlining all the scholarships, grants, loans and work-study opportunities available to you.
