Starting the school year on a new campus just got one step easier with a new one-stop web page for incoming Transylvania students. Pioneer Central provides links to forms, orientation information and most of the areas new and transfer students will interact with on campus.
The Office of Student Life worked with the university’s marketing and communications team to aggregate information on financial aid, advising and registration, housing and residence life, student wellbeing and a host of other student services, as well as email contact information, into one location.
“The Pioneer Central web page gives new students at Transy one place to start when they’re looking for answers,” said Michael Covert, vice president for student life and dean of students. “We want to help students find what they need as quickly as possible and having 24 hour access to the web page is a great way to do that.”
Some links on Pioneer Central will require individuals to login with their Transylvania credentials, including housing forms, student accounting, IT service requests, as well as public safety information.
