Renowned Vegas magician to perform two shows at Transylvania’s MFA on Saturday

The Transylvania Mitchell Fine Arts Center’s first full professional performing arts season continues Saturday with two shows by renowned Las Vegas illusionist Bill Blagg.

Reserve tickets for the interactive, jaw-dropping shows at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. in Haggin Auditorium.

The Magic of Bill Blagg LIVE! is promoted as combining his “mind-blowing magical talents along with his trademark off-the-cuff personality — to take you on a magical journey you’ll never forget. You’ll witness objects float in mid air, vanish in the blink of an eye and so much more.”

Blagg’s show has been described by the Chicago Tribune as “a side-splitting spectacular” and “absolutely incredible.” He has appeared on NBC, CBS and FOX.

The illusionist is well known for his nontraditional magic that goes beyond cliches — he opts more for dramatic illusions like teleporting across theaters.

Also on tap for the MFA 2024-25 season, which is in partnership with FOX 56, the American Spiritual Ensemble performs in the Dorothy J. and Fred K. Smith Concert Series on March 21 — and the group presents “Broadway and All That Jazz” on March 22. Reserve tickets.
