Transylvania University’s 13th annual PumpkinMania Festival is made possible thanks to the support of presenting sponsor Buchart + Wachs Orthodontics.
The Lexington Halloween tradition continues Sunday with food trucks, children’s activities, candy, carving, tomb tours, a staged Theater Guild reading and tables staffed by local organizations and businesses including the main sponsor.
“Buchart + Wachs Orthodontics has a passion for giving back and supporting our community,” a spokesperson said. “We also love to be involved with our patients outside of the office setting, and participating with organizations like Transylvania and its PumpkinMania offers us an opportunity to do so.”
Besides PumpkinMania, Buchart + Wachs supports community groups throughout the area, including many local schools and sports organizations, Christ the King’s Oktoberfest, the American Heart Association’s Go Red Luncheon and Girls on the Run, to mention a few.
In addition to Buchart + Wachs Orthodontics, this year’s PumpkinMania partners include Hits 106.3, 96.1 The Hound, The Scout Guide Lexington, Bim Group, Commonwealth Credit Union, Live Green Lexington, RentalOnline.org and Black Soil.
Food vendors for the event are Nathan’s Taqueria, Piggin Out, Tikiz, Travelin’ Tom’s Coffee Truck and West Sixth Brewing.
The PumpkinMania display will run through Nov. 2 with jack-o’-lantern viewing each night in Old Morrison Circle.
