How do you know if a university is right for you? When determining fit, it’s tough to beat an on-campus experience — and this fall, Transylvania’s Destination Transy event is the ideal opportunity for today’s high school students to visit Transy’s beautiful campus and see if they are tomorrow’s Pioneers.
Destination Transy is right for students who are beginning their college search, think they might be interested in Transylvania and want to learn more about what the school has to offer. This year, the event will be on Saturday, Oct. 21, from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Registration is now open.
“Students who attend Destination Transy get a glimpse into several facets of the admissions process and campus — such as academics, college applications and financial aid, and student life,” said Director of Admissions Julie Sams. “It’s a great overview for any student going through the college search process.”
Guests will take a campus tour, learn about the admissions process and enjoy conversations with current students, as well as faculty and staff members. Breakfast and lunch will be provided, giving prospective Pioneers a chance to check out Transylvania’s recently renovated Campus Center.
Visitors can also take advantage of the beautiful fall weather common to central Kentucky in late October and explore downtown Lexington — regularly named one of the country’s best cities.
