Summertime improvements to Transylvania University’s campus include complete interior renovations of the school’s 42-unit Rosenthal Apartment Complex.
Work includes an overhaul of the bathrooms — with new flooring, showers, vanities and toilets. The apartments also will get fresh paint and flooring in the living spaces as well as new exterior doors and kitchenette cabinets, sinks and countertops.
Complementing these double-occupancy apartments at Rosenthal are communal spaces for students to grill outdoors or do laundry, play video games, have meetings or just hang out.
Alumni on Facebook recently expressed their fondness for the apartment complex, built in 1986 and named after the late Warren W. Rosenthal, a longtime university supporter and CEO of Jerrico Inc.
