On Aug. 4, Transylvania’s campus will transform into a tropical oasis in the midst of the summer heat, thanks to Summer Fest.
Designed for prospective students and their families, this in-person admissions event gives rising high school juniors and seniors the chance to learn more about Transy in a laid-back setting — tropical attire optional.
“Summer Fest is an opportunity for students and families to explore Transylvania in a fun and relaxed environment,” said Julie Sams, director of admissions. “It’s a great initial look at Transy with an overview of admissions while also hearing from current students and touring campus.”
Grab your coffee and doughnuts before exploring campus early to beat the heat. You’ll also get the chance to ask questions to a panel of students and young alumni and learn more about Transylvania as well as Lexington itself (including lunch recommendations!).
“I think the one thing that a student can get from their campus visits is what I refer to as the ‘gut feeling,’” Sams added. “It’s very different to get a brochure in the mail than to walk around a college campus.”
Register today to celebrate the end of summer while discovering what makes Transylvania so special.
