White, Greer & Maggard Orthodontics continues its generous support of Transylvania University and the Lexington community as the lead sponsor of the school’s 12th annual PumpkinMania Festival.
As part of the festivities, the public is invited to swing by Old Morrison Circle off Third Street to check out a display of 500 jack-o’-lanterns lit each night through Thursday. The pumpkins were carved during a campus event Sunday featuring fun activities, food vendors and community groups like WGM.
“White, Greer & Maggard Orthodontics has been creating beautiful smiles and caring for their local community for over 30 years,” a spokesperson said. “With a mission of giving back and supporting the community, WGM is returning as the main sponsor of this year’s PumpkinMania to help in giving families the opportunity to enjoy a fun-filled, fall event.”
The orthodontists have deep Transylvania ties. For instance, one of the founding partners, Dr. Greg White ’85, is a member of the Pioneer Hall of Fame, and there’s a multipurpose room in the Beck Center named after WGM.
For the past three decades, White, Greer & Maggard has shown a “passion for providing the ultimate patient experience through the highest quality of treatment, personalized care and involvement in the community,” according to its website. “People are our passion, and we strive to take advantage of every ‘moment of impact’ we’re given, to better the lives of those we serve.”
Besides PumpkinMania, WGM supports community groups throughout the state, including more than 200 schools and 65 youth organizations.
In addition to White, Greer & Maggard, this year’s PumpkinMania partners include the BimGroup, Black Soil, Alpha Financial Partners, Becker Law Office and Commonwealth Credit Union.
