This year’s Transylvania University PumpkinMania Festival was made possible through the generous support of local businesses like the Bim Group.
The Lexington-based employee benefits advisory firm is a silver sponsor of the 12th annual event presented by White, Greer & Maggard Orthodontics.
Tonight is your last chance to stop by Old Morrison Circle to see the display of 500 jack-o’-lanterns before they’re hauled off for animal feed. The school and local communities turned out Sunday for the festivities, which featured food vendors, games and other activities.
The Bim Group has a history of community support, whether that be through organizations like the March of Dimes or events like the Kentucky Capital Development Corporation’s Industry Appreciation Day.
The firm, which earlier this year was recognized as being one of the “Best Places to Work in Kentucky,” recently merged with Louisville-based Snowden & Associates, making it the the largest independent advisory firm in Kentucky, according to the Lane report.
The Bim Group started with a single employee in 1979, according to the firm. “Today, we have grown organically into a recognized industry leader with a team of 30 dedicated professionals working to meet the needs of 450+ employer clients who employ over 70,000 employees.” Its clients are in a wide range of fields, from health care to equine to education.
In addition to the Bim Group and gold sponsor White, Greer & Maggard, this year’s PumpkinMania partners include Black Soil, Alpha Financial Partners, Becker Law Office and Commonwealth Credit Union.
