From one Pioneer to another, with thanks to everyone who supports the Transylvania Fund.
Swimmer Drew Dodds ’21 knew he wanted to be a doctor when he was in grade school. A native of Madisonville, Kentucky, Dodds excels in his major, biology, and his minors in chemistry and business administration. As a sophomore at Transy, he was selected by the University of Kentucky’s Early Assurance Program, which guarantees his place in its medical school program.
“All of Transy’s STEM classes really push,” he says. “They’re intense. They’re hard. But they are classes that are going to make it easier in the long run to study for the MCAT or the DAT or for pharmacy.”
Dodds’ experience at Transy is an example of how the university provides its students with the support they need to succeed. Your contributions to The Transylvania Fund, the school’s annual giving program, help ensure the continued quality of our faculty and enhance student programming while providing for the greatest needs of Pioneers.
Dodds says he’s “thankful for those who are able to donate and help students afford the quality education that Transylvania has to offer.”
