The English-Speaking Union is a non-profit, non-political educational organization whose mission is to promote scholarship and the advancement of knowledge through the effective use of English. The Kentucky branch of the English-Speaking Union awards scholarships for 4 weeks of summer study in the U. K.

The Scholarship, valued at over $3,000 provides:
Tuition, room and board for a three week academic program (1 unit of credit)
Lodging for one week in London
Travel allowance to cover part of the cost of airfare
Membership for one year in the English-Speaking Union.
Eligibility: Current Juniors who have established an outstanding academic record and are ready to do advanced work in their major discipline
