Tim Hull majored in theater at Western Kentucky University and has an M.F.A. in acting from the American Conservatory Theater (ACT) in San Francisco. He has acted in over 80 plays in New York City, San Francisco, San Jose, and Kentucky.
In November 2011 he appeared in a Theater of War/American Conservatory Theater co-production of Ajax in San Francisco (directed by ACT Artistic Director Carey Perloff). In New York City he performed with such companies as the Artistic Home NY and the New York International Fringe Festival; in San Francisco and San Jose he performed with such companies as the American Conservatory Theater, foolsFury, and City Lights; and in Lexington he has performed with most of the companies throughout the city, including ProjectSee. Hull also spent six years in the Army and served for 16 months in Baghdad and Mosul, Iraq.
