Transylvania's mathematics major introduces students to the underpinnings of mathematics through a rigorous study of logic, analysis, and algebra. The flexible curriculum accommodates the various academic pursuits of our students. In addition to required courses, we offer several elective courses each year in topics varying from complex analysis and topology to actuarial science and cryptography.
