Transylvania's exercise science program provides a two-term, year-long study of anatomy and physiology. Students continue to build on that strong science foundation by integrating the material with exercise, nutrition, and chronic disease prevention studies. The curriculum allows students the flexibility to select four courses from allied fields such as chemistry, psychology, physics, and biology, giving them the opportunity to shape the major to fit their academic interests and goals. All exercise science majors participate in an internship to interact with experts and help them identify future direction for graduate school.
Transylvania University admits students regardless of age, race, color, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, veteran status, national origin, or any other classification protected by federal or state law or local ordinance.
