When Cory Collins '13 registered for WRC 4244, he already had a plan for how to approach the independent study. He holed himself up in a cheap hotel in Louisville and spent his days at the ballpark watching the Louisville Bats, a minor league affiliate of the Cincinnati Reds; interviewing players and team support staff; and writing.
The result? After five weeks, he had a first draft of his book "Bats That Won't Break."
