Volunteer Income Tax Assistance ProgramEach winter term, approximately 30 accounting majors set up shop to provide free income tax preparation for citizens in our neighborhood and the broader Lexington community. CPA ExamTransylvania's accounting graduates have a long and impressive history of success on the CPA exam. Although the current regulations of the accounting profession require 150 college semester hours to sit for the CPA exam, Transylvania's unique program entitles our graduates to sit for the exam upon completion of their undergraduate degree. |

InternshipsApproximately half of our accounting students complete professional internships with local accounting firms, businesses, horse farms, and other entities. These internships greatly enhance the academic experience and often lead to full-time positions after graduation. |
