Transylvania University has endured and prospered as a leader in higher education in part because every year hundreds of parents just like you entrust us with the intellectual, social, and emotional growth of their children. It is a privilege we take very seriously.
This section of our website outlines information that you may find helpful as you become involved in our campus community. In addition, throughout the year, we will send you invitations to campus events such as Family Weekend and a campus calendar listing lectures, concerts, plays, and sports events. I hope to see you at many of these events. Additionally, you will receive information about how to take part in the Parents Fund. By getting involved in the Transylvania community you will see firsthand the personal attention your student receives here.
I look forward to getting to know your sons and daughters as a part of my role as president of Transylvania. Among the advantages of a small college are the many opportunities I will have to talk with students informally, and I look forward to watching our students give their best efforts on stage, in the concert hall, on the playing field, and in other venues. There will be many enjoyable moments, but perhaps none will be more rewarding than presenting students with their hard-earned diplomas at commencement.
Welcome to the Transylvania family,
