Course Description

In 2008 Drs. Sly and Wagner took students to Belize for two weeks to study tropical marine and forest ecosystems. During that time the students snorkeled in a variety of coral reef and shallow marine systems as well as hiked in tropical forests and caves. The course focused on the complex interactions between animals and plants in the tropics and how human activities are impacting these unique ecosystems.
