This fall's Kenan lecturer, philosopher and public intellectual Kwame Anthony Appiah, will deliver his lecture Oct. 20. The philosophy program, in connection with the office of the vice president for academic affairs, would like to invite faculty and staff to participate in a book discussion. Dean Pollard's office is securing 20 copies of "Cosmopolitanism: Ethics in a World of Strangers," which will be distributed for free to the first 10 staff and 10 faculty to sign on to participate in a discussion.
