|Life Through the Eyes of a Naturalized Citizen: The Refugee Perspective|
7:00 p.m.-8:30 p.m.
Location: Campus Center Gym
This event will serve as a follow-up to Constitution Day, celebrated a few weeks ago, and feature a discussion of the U.S. Constitution from the point of view of naturalized citizens. A representative from Kentucky Refugee Ministries will also speak about related refugee issues. This will be followed by viewing videos that simulate what English sounds like to non-native speakers, taking part of the citizenship test, and participating in small-group discussions of the refugee experience.
