Transylvania is a residential campus and approximately 80% of our 1,100 students live on campus.
No. Housing forms will be sent to high school seniors after the students submit their $200 enrollment deposit. All first year students will receive housing.
New students will receive their housing assignments in early July. At that time, they will also receive the names and addresses of their new roommates.
Of course. Students may select a specific roommate by having each of the students wishing to room together request the other student on the housing application form.
Transylvania University has seven residence halls. Most rooms are for two people. Our first year residence halls for men and women are single sex. Those for upper classmen are co-ed by floor. There is always something going on in the residence halls for students whether it is residence hall activities, educational and recreational programs, or social and community service activities.
Transylvania University admits students regardless of age, race, color, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, veteran status, national origin, or any other classification protected by federal or state law or local ordinance.
