The performing arts at Transylvania is a non-exclusive group, inviting students from outside the fine arts majors to join the art students in productions and exhibits. Performing arts groups hold open auditions, and students from all areas are encouraged to participate.

The school year is filled with concerts, recitals, dramatic production, and art exhibits in Transylvania's state-of-the-art facilities. The Lucille C. Little Theater has advanced lighting and sound systems, flexible staging and seating, and an overhead grid for suspension of actors and props. Art exhibits in Morlan Gallery feature a wide variety of shows from Transylvania students and faculty. Outside artists, lecturers, and performers visit the campus frequently for shows and concerts.
Transylvania University admits students regardless of age, race, color, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, veteran status, national origin, or any other classification protected by federal or state law or local ordinance.
