Open for tours several months of the year, the family home of President Lincoln’s wife is located on Main Street, near Rupp Arena. Originally built as an inn in 1803-06, the Todds purchased the building in 1832. Mary’s brother, George Rogers Clark Todd, was a graduate of Transylvania’s medical department and her father, Robert, was appointed a trustee of the university in 1827.
