
More formally known as The Center for Community, Awareness, Responsibility, and Engagement, the CARE House includes offices for religious life, community service and civic engagement, and AmeriCorps VISTA.
Designated a historic property by the Blue Grass Trust, the building at 439 W. Fourth Street in the midst of Transylvania's student residences is a convenient meeting place for outreach groups and service organizations. Students are encouraged to use the public spaces to create a vibrant hub for student activities focused on the larger Lexington community.
