Leadership Programs

Transylvania prepares you to take the lead in life. To help you get ahead after you graduate, we offer many opportunities to take the lead while on campus.

A wide range of leadership education, development, and training opportunities are available at Transylvania. All are designed to complement your academic experiences, so that you can be a leader both in and outside the classroom.

Choose the type of involvement that's right for you. Whether you attend an overnight retreat, an hour-long workshop, or join a peer leadership team, our goal is to better prepare you for life after college while ensuring that your time on campus is both fun and meaningful.

Opportunities for leadership on campus

  • FuTUre Leaders Retreat, an overnight experience whose goal is to turn potential leaders into future leaders. Students will recognize their developing leadership style, identify their personal goals as college students, and develop a plan for achieving those goals.
  • Greek Leadership Retreat, an overnight gathering for Greek officers and officials in the Panhellenic Association and Interfraternity Council.
  • Leadership honoraries, including Alpha Lambda Delta for first-year students, Omicron Delta Kappa for upperclass students, and the Order of Omega for upperclass Greek students.
  • Various leadership programs throughout the year sponsored by numerous offices and organizations.
